Our Secretary General, Julien Bouyeron, recently took part in the Swiss Council Congress 2025, where he presented ECSP’s work and priorities to a distinguished audience of retail real estate leaders in Switzerland.
While Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, the ties between the Swiss and EU retail property sectors are strong. Both face similar challenges, including sustainability transitions, evolving investment environments, and shifting urban dynamics that call for shared understanding and cross-border collaboration.
“We greatly value the opportunity to connect with our Swiss peers,” said Bouyeron. “The exchange of knowledge and ideas across borders is vital as we navigate a rapidly changing retail landscape.”
ECSP extends its sincere thanks to the Swiss Council of Shopping Places (SCSP) and Marcel Stoffel for their kind invitation and for fostering such open and constructive dialogue.
